Jasmine is a self-taught freelance photographer born and raised in New Jersey. She began her photography career to honor her late grandfather, who curated photo albums upon photo albums dating back to the late 1950s. While she leaps at the chance to capture anything that catches her eye, she enjoys portrait, landscape, and cityscape photography.

Jasmine is passionate about social justice and mental wellness. As a part of her social justice work, Jazzy’s Lens is dedicated to affirming and uplifting Black women and Black non-binary folks. She is a member of Black Women Photographers and was featured in Diversify Photo’s Up Next List.

Jasmine is also a theatre artist and has previously taught high school theatre.
